We are seeking an Associate Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Clinical Affairs team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically trained professional with a background in burn care who is looking to transition into a field-based medical and clinical affairs role. Reporting to the VP of Clinical Affairs, this person will serve as a scientific and clinical resource to healthcare professionals while helping support education, evidence generation, and external engagement.
What You’ll Do
· Deliver clinical and scientific education to physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Support onboarding, training, and ongoing education for provider partners.
· Respond to clinical questions related to product use, outcomes, and best practices.
· Build relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical experts, and research partners.
· Support clinical research initiatives, including study planning, execution, and scientific dissemination.
· Gather field insights and communicate emerging trends, unmet needs, and provider feedback to internal teams.
· Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Research, and Commercial teams.
· Contribute to scientific materials, evidence summaries, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
· Clinical background in burn care or a closely related setting such as burn ICU, trauma, complex wound care, or reconstructive/surgical care.
· No prior MSL experience required.
· Advanced clinical or scientific degree preferred; strong candidates with relevant burn care clinical experience and scientific aptitude will also be considered.
· Experience in direct patient care, provider education, clinical research, or scientific communication is a plus.
· Strong ability to interpret and communicate clinical and scientific information.
· Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
· Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a field-based environment.
· Interest in growing into a scientific engagement role within Clinical Affairs and Medical Affairs.
